About Us

Foreigners Registration Office is the primary agency to regulate the registration, movement, stay, departure and also for recommending the extention of stay in india.

FRO Amravati Rural office deals in Registration, Extensions, Return visas, and processing of exit permission.

‘C’ Form For Foreign National Staying on Rent/Lease/Paying Guest:
The Foreigners (Report to Police) order 1971 made by the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Foreigners Act, 1946. As per this order every householder of other persons should report to the FRO Kolhapur Office about the arrival or presence of his household or in any premises occupied by him or under his control of any foreigner. Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under Section 188 of I.P.C. The keeper of the hotel shall, as soon as it may be, but not more than 24 hours after the arrival of any foreigner, transmit a copy of duly completed Form C to the FRO Amravati Rural Office.

FRO is situated at Building of Supdt. Of Police Office, Amravati Rural. In this office following services are provided to the foreigners:

  • Registration of foreigner and and issue residential permit as per validity of visa.

  • Extension of visa/residential permit/ conversion of visa.

  • Issue of new visa (new born baby).

  • Issue of exit permit.

  • Repatriation / Deportation of foreigner.

  • Online registration of hotel, lodges, hostel, degree collages , school, for submission of online C form for foreigner.

  • NOC for foreign currency exchange through district magistrate.

  • Any other servicess for foreigners.

  • REFREE certificate in respect of PAK nationals coming in India.
